文学和军事向来都有着密切的关系,尤其是在我们世界文学的经典里面,伟大的经典多数都与军事关系密切。人的本性当中和灵魂深处,所包含的最善良的、最丑陋的、最勇敢的和最懦弱的东西,都会在战争这个特殊的环境中暴露无遗。人的身上最高贵的品质和最卑劣的特性,也都会在战争这个特殊环境之中得到展示。军事文学最终还是要落实到对人的灵魂的揭示和刻画上,落实到对人的性格的塑造上,要塑造出典型的人物形象。

Literature and the military affairs always have close relations, especially in our world literature classics, where great classics are most closely associated with military affairs. Those in human nature and soul that are the kindest, most ugly, the bravest and most cowardly things will be exposed completely in the particular environment of war. People＇s noble quality and the most despicable characteristics also will be shown in the special environment of war. Military literature will eventually manage to reveal and depict the human soul, and to shape people＇s personalities by creating typical characters.
