In reaching out to share Manchu cultural traditions, the biggest ethnic school in Liaoning Province has brought Manchu performances like the Shaman dance and Peace Drum （Taipinggu） presentations to the big industrial city of Anshan and to audiences in other places. With support from authorities, Xiuyan Manchu Middle School has received recognition for its progress in education and cultural outreach.
