学习列宁帝国主义论,就要把握"垄断代替自由竞争,是帝国主义的根本经济特征,是帝国主义的实质"这一精髓。垄断,包括国家垄断、国际垄断和全球垄断,依然是当代资本主义的主要形态。金融资本仍旧支配其全部经济生活。金融危机已成为资本主义经济危机的主要形式。要全面准确理解帝国主义的腐朽性、寄生性、垂死性,既不能在帝国主义战争、危机和革命高潮中,片面把帝国主义的"垂死状态"理解为马上灭亡;也不能面对当代资本主义的新发展,片面得出帝国主义"垂而不死、腐而不朽"的结论。"世界霸权"是帝国主义政治的内容,而帝国主义政治的继续便是帝国主义战争,把帝国主义战争说成是"民主战争",就是粉饰帝国主义侵略本质。为推行西方民主制度,而不惜强行干预别国内政,发动侵略战争,是"帝国主义"实质特征的再现。霸权主义和强权政治是造成当前国际形势紧张、地区动荡,乃至战乱不断的根源。学习和运用列宁帝国主义论,不能简单照搬列宁的个别论断。

Substituting monopoly for free competition is the principal economic feature and the essence of imperialism,which is the core of Lenin’s imperialism theory.Monopolies,which include state monopoly,international monopoly and global monopoly,are still the main formations of contemporary capitalism.Finance capital still dominates the economic life and finance crisis has been the main form of capital economic crisis.The decay,parasitism and moribund imperialism should be comprehended profoundly and precisely.We can not take the moribund state of imperialism as a soon perishing state in the situations of imperialist wars,imperialist crisis and upsurge of the revolution.We can not draw the conclusion that imperialism is immortal though decayed when facing the new development of contemporary capitalism. ＂Global hegemony＂ is the content of imperialist politics and the next stage of imperialist politics is the imperialist war.Hence taking imperialist wars as ＂democratic wars＂ is depicting the aggressive essence of imperialism in bright color.In the purpose of pursuing western democratic system to intervene the domestic affairs of other states or even launch invasion wars is the reappearing of the essence characteristic of IMPERIALISM.Hegemony and power politics are the causes of the current international tensions,regional turmoil,and even the wars.We can not simply copy Lenin’s individual judgements when learn and apply Lenin’s imperialism theory.
