Who gains from the Med a s misrepresentation of science？ News coverage of clinical research
摘要
我们与McCartney一样关注医学报道。媒体上关于科研的报道，能够给学者和院校增加“影响力”，提升期刊的地位，为新闻机构增加客户。然而，劣质的报道会引起毫无根据的恐慌和不切实际的期望，导致一些无效或不安全的医疗行为。当后续研究结果与其不符时，还会降低对医学研究的信心。
