The cause of decline of ancient Chinese pines(Pinus tabulaeformis Carr.)in Mount Qianshan Scenic Spot was investigated.The main reasons were the change of climate and the damage on soil and vegetation cause by the increase of tourists,which resulted in the weakness of trees.The common control measures were provided for reference in production.
