摘要
沙眼衣原体(chlamydia trachomatis,CT)是最常见的性传播性疾病病原体,可以引起泌尿生殖道感染、女性盆腔炎、宫外孕和不孕不育,也可以引起感染性致盲。衣原体是专性细胞内的寄生菌,具有独特的发育周期。文中就沙眼衣原体的生物学特性、免疫性和致病性及其与宿主细胞间的相互关系进行了综述。
Chlamydial infeCTions cause a wide range of acute and chronic diseases. Urogenital tract infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis(CT) (serovars D-K) are the most common sexually transmitted baCTerial diseases worldwide and may result in pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy and infertility. Ocular infeCTions by CT (serovars A-C) are the leading cause of infectious blindness. Chlamydia are obligate, intracellular baCTeria with a biphasic developmental cycle that involves unique metabolic changes. In this article, the recent advances on the biological characteristics, immunity and pathogenicity of Chlamydia trachomatis and their interactions with host ceilswere reviewed.
