摘要 建立有效的高校内部教师教学发展机构是美国研究型大学提升教师教学能力、提高教育教学质量和人才培养质量的根本途径。"施莱尔卓越教学研究所"(SITE)和"教学技术中心"(TLT)是宾夕法尼亚州立大学两大著名的教学发展机构,它们独立于大学各院系和管理部门,其成员由长期专门从事教学研究、评价和培训,并拥有扎实的教育理论素养和丰富的教学实践经验的资深工作人员组成,为大学教师的教学与研究提供支持和服务,大大促进了大学教学的发展。 In research universities of America,it is the basic way to enhance teachers' capacity and the quality of teaching and talent training by establishing an effective internalteaching development agency. As a case,Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence(SITE)and Teaching and Learning with Technology(TLT) of the Pennsylvania State University,there are two famous teaching development agencies. They are independent from the man-agement department and schools. The members of teaching development agency are consist-ing of senior professionals who are equipped with solid education theory and specialized inteaching practices. They devote to education researching,evaluating and training for a longtime. It is important to provide support and service for college faculties in teaching and re-search,which greatly contribute to the development of education.
