"70后"作家的大部分创作可以划归现实主义范畴。同以往的中国现实主义作品相比,他们的创作主要表现出如下特征:题材空前丰富,"经验"相对薄弱;缺乏整体性历史观,着力还原历史碎片;有意疏远政治意识形态,有节制地表现底层苦难;精神世界相对模糊,人物形象不够丰满。
