滁州学院地理信息科学专业应用型人才培养综合改革探索

A Study on the Comprehensive Reforming of the Geographical Information Science Specialty for the Training of Qualified Personnel with Practical Ability

滁州学院地理信息科学(GIS)专业自2004年以来,围绕GIS本科专业应用型人才的培养,在办学思路、课程设置、培养模式等方面进行了大胆的改革与尝试,形成了一定的特色:确立了"开放办学、注重实践"为本专业基本的办学思路;明确了具体培养岗位目标,即一般单位对地理信息技术有基本需求的工作岗位如数据采集、建库以及日常管理等工作)以及地理信息系统企业中的技术支持和管理工作;在课程设置上增加3S课程及实践教学比重;在培养模式上,探索开展了以四个训练(科研、实训、竞赛、生产)为主体的多方位的灵活的课余实践教学体系,探索实践了专业辅导员制度,即一个专业各有一名专业教师和专职辅导员共同担任班主任。其中,专职辅导员主要担任日常事务的管理,而专业教师负责学生专业知识学习的引导和强化工作。我校的实践表明,上述综合改革对实现GIS本科专业应用型人才的培养目标具有显著的成效。

Since 2004,we carried out extensive reforming in the process of training the qualified personnel with practical ability in GIS specialty.We followed the road ＂ Reforming the teaching process,opening the cultivation process,emphasizing the basic knowledge and skill,enhancing the practice＂.We targeted our goal as：the student should be qualified in the area such as data collecting,data base building,and the management of the GIS project.We put more effort on the practising and the technology courses.We explored a flexible extracurricular practice teaching system,which included four types of training,such as scientific research training,laboratory training,skill competition,and job training.We reform the counselor system by adding a teacher in the instructing.Our reform proved to be effective in cultivating qualified personnel with practical ability in GIS.
