Does Altmetrics Apply to Influence Evaluation? —A Meta-analysis of Foreign Scholars' Empirical Studies and Related Controversies

摘要 为了考察Altmetrics应用于影响力评价的可行性,实证检验是必要程序。文章利用文献调研与荟萃分析等方法,从多个维度解读实证案例。结果表明:Mendeley和Twitter是最具潜力的指标数据来源平台,用户群体属性和行为具有差异化特征,Altmetrics与传统文献计量指标之间存在正相关性,开放程度和可获取性是影响指标量值的关键因素,指标数据累积形态服从长尾分布规律,不同学科领域研究成果的Altmetrics表现迥异,Altmetrics可用于研究数据影响力测度;现有的实证方案也有限度,未来研究应从以下方面拓展:制定规范化实施标准及指南,注重探索人文学科评价方案,构建完善的方法论体系框架。 Empirical testing is necessary for investigating the feasibility of Altmetrics application in the scientific research eval- uation. This paper interprets the empirical cases from multiple perspectives with the methods of literature research and meta analy- sis. The result illustrates that the most potential indicator data source platforms are Mendeley and Twitter, the attributes and behav- iors of user community have different characteristics. There is a positive correlation between Ahmetrics and traditional bibliometric indicators, openness and availability are the key factors affecting the value of indicators. The cumulative distribution of indicator data follows the long tail distribution law, different subject domains have diverse Altmetrics performance, Ahmetrics can be used to measure the impact of research data. The existing empirical scheme is also limited, future research should be expanded from the following aspects : to develop normally standardized implementations and guidelines, to explore specific assessment program for hu- manities products, and to construct a perfect methodology system framework.
