The Scattered Notes of the Words＇ Explaining in ＂Continuation Eminent Monk Biography＂（《续高僧传》 ）

唐代佛典文献中一些词语由于使用范围的局限未必为我们所熟知,它们有的表达一种和汉籍文献不同的意义,有些则是在汉籍文献中尚未出现过的,因而并未被当下的字典辞书所吸收,本文试列举《续高僧传》数例,以求教于方家。

Some words in the Buddhist literature of Tang Dynasty may be not known by us because the limit of its range of use. Some of them described the meaning that is different from the Han nationality literatures, some words did not appear in our Han nationality literature, so the words are not taken in by our dictionaries. This thesis tries to list several examples of＂Continuation Eminent Monk Biography＂（《续高僧传》） to ask advice of the experts.
