This article reviewed the significance HIV-1 viral load testing.The clinical application of viral load testing in HIV diagnosing and evaluating was stated,and HIV/AIDS prevention and control prospect is controllable.The level of HIV-1 can be monitored by using viral load,which is significant of guiding the use of drug and evaluating the efficacy of therapy.Viral load is used for diagnosing difficult samples as an accessory diagnostic way.It is important for early prevention and early therapy.
