对期刊编辑和作者学位论文再发表的认知调查

The survey of authors and journal editors for their understanding of republishing dissertations

【目的】调查和比较作者和期刊编辑对学位论文再发表问题的认知,探讨认知差异产生的原因及其造成的影响。【方法】在文献复习的基础上设计问卷,调查作者和期刊编辑基本情况及其对学位论文再发表所涉及的版权问题的认知,对问卷结果进行比较和分析。【结果】作者和期刊编辑有一些共同的困惑,对学位论文的版权归属均不明确;双方对学位论文再发表的版权问题认知有一定差异,涉及出版伦理的内容基本能够达成共识。【结论】学位论文再发表并无固定的解决模式,建议期刊编辑和作者通过明确版权归属和细化学位论文版权转让协议等方式确定权利与义务,求同存异,使各方利益平衡。

[Purposes]This paper aims to investigate and compare the understanding of authors and editors of academic journals on republishing dissertations,and discuss the reasons of their differences and its influence.[Methods]The questionnaire was designed according to literature retrieval. The survey was carried out among authors and journal editors. Their personal information and opinions in the copy associated with republishing dissertations were recorded for the further comparison and analysis. [Findings]Some common confusion existed in authors and editors. They didn＇t have a clear idea of the copyright ownership of dissertations.There were some differences in the understanding of republishing dissertations between authors and editors,while they could reach a consensus in terms of publishing ethics. [Conclusions]Republication of dissertations is an open question; therefore,there is no fixed solution for it. By the way of making the copyright ownership clear and making the copyright transfer agreement specific,rights and duties are confirmed to balance various interest groups based on seeking the common ground while reserving differences.
