深化本科教育教学改革 “四位一体”培养拔尖创新人才

Deepening the Undergraduate Education Reform and Cultivating Top-notch Innovative Talents

近年来,西安交通大学在深化本科教育教学改革,培养拔尖创新人才方面进行了一些新的探索。为了适应新的历史时期对人才培养的新要求,学校提出了"品行养成、知识传授、能力培养、思维创新"四位一体的人才培养目标和育人模式,强调要致力于培养具有健全人格、社会责任感和扎实基础、科学素养、全球视野、求实创新型人才。围绕这一目标,学校提出并实施大类招生、通识教育与宽口径专业教育相结合、国际交流、以创新意识与能力为核心的工程领导力培养等一系列改革举措。

In recent years, Xi＇an Jiaotong University has been actively made explorations in deepening the undergraduate education reform and cultivating top-notch innovative talents. To meet the new requirements of talent cultivation under new circumstances, Xi＇an Jiaotong University has set forth the talent cultivation objective and education model from four aspects called ＂Quaternity＂： training character, imparting knowledge, building ability and cultivating innovative thinking. It emphasizes on cultivating talents who not only have healthy personalities, senses of social responsibility and solid learning foundations, but also have scientific literacies, global visions and innovative spirits. To achieve the objective, suggestions are put forward as follows： recruiting students of heavy calibre; restricting an education plan which combines general education with wide caliber professional education; strengthening international communication; developing engineering leadership which focuses on innovation consciousness and ability.
