上海现有主要造纸企业均有母公司集团背景,有相当实力,但造纸规模受限,转型发展难度很大,本市造纸业在上海国际大都市的转型优势尚未能明显体现,探索仍在进行,但非上海传统造纸业的上海泰盛制浆集团则很活跃。

The total production of paper and board was 0.7 million tons in 2015, decreased by 0.15 million tons compared with the 0.85 million tons in 2014, with a decrease of 18.01 percent. The transition of Shanghai paper industry is still in the process of exploration.
