1978-1985年是＂新时期＂的初始阶段,在＂美学热＂的冲击下,各艺术门类围绕各自的内在规律及学科本体展开了热烈的讨论与广泛的探索,形成了门类美学研究的理论热潮。尽管带有十分鲜明的时代特色与历史局限性,但这一时期的门类美学作为历史进程中不可忽略的一个阶段,为后来的艺术学学科建构勾勒出基本框架,在艺术学学科发展史上具有重要意义。

Known as the primary stage of ＂the new period＂,the years between 1978 and 1985 witnessed the extensive exploration of disciplines and development of artistic genres. At that time, aesthetics was all the rage. Though tinted with historic limitations and distinct era characteristics, aesthetics development in that period marked a milestone in art theories by roughing out major disciplines of the field.
