This paper briefly introduces the common form of sluice stability failure, the routine method of overall stability checking, and introduces the basic theory of geological. Through several classical soil mechanics theory formula feature comparison and calculation results, expounds the Hansen formula of bearing capacity calculation in consideration of influencing factors, processing methods and use conditions, discusses the formula to calculate the reliability of the results and conclusions are stable. Uniformity of constraints for foundation, through the comparison analysis and in - situ test results, Hansen formula calculation principle of basic value of bearing capacity of soft soil foundation, added the specification approved by the other methods.
