"对话"是主、客体间进行平等交流的最简单、最有效的行为方式,平等是对话展开的先决条件。《论语》以其真实灵动、存同存异、客观辩证的对话特点建立起和而不同的对话精神。倡扬和而不同的对话精神,进而打破盲目坚信抑或全面否定的信仰壁垒,是传承中华优秀传统文化、促进中西方文化交流共进的有效方式。

Dialogue is one of the simplest and the most effective behaviors of equal communication between the subject and the object. Equality is the prerequisite of starting conversations. The Analects of Confucius has established an important dialogue rule with the spirit of harmony in diversity by three characteristics, namely real and lively, diversified and harmonious, and objective and dialectical. Building up this kind of dialogue rule and then breaking through the barrier of faith which manifests as blind belief or complete negation are the effective means of inheriting the excellent traditions of Chinese culture and promoting the global communication of civilization between the eastern and western countries.
