学术史提问与“新世代”焦虑——兼回应王建疆教授 被引量:10

摘要 "学术民族主义"思潮在大陆美学(文论)领域绵延20年,对此,笔者有三点看法:一是不宜将自己在海内外遭逢的专业性尴尬放大为"东西方文化不平等"的标志,可能它只具"学科性",不具"民族性";二是包括美学(文论)在内的大陆人文学术演化境况,与国家GDP总值的世界排位之间,不呈对称性必然律,故无须诉诸举国体制;三是真愿为当代学术做出实绩的"新世代",应拨冗体悟先哲时贤的学思人生精髓(如王国维的"学无中西之分"与钱锺书的"默存"于学,等等)。另,建议学术史提问拟取"诊断式"而非"症候式",以及认同学界要多研究"问题",少谈"主义"。 "Academic nationalism" has existed for 20 years in the field of aesthetics (Literary Theory). But there are three questions about it has not been clear yet. 1, the embarrassing situation of China's academic achievements may not be due to the western national discrimination; 2, the mainland's academic progress has no need to rely on the whole nation system; 3, Chinese sages such as Qian Zhongshu had already said: academic standards should not be divided between China and the West. Also, this paper suggests that the questions on academic history should be "diagnostic" rather than "symptomatic", and the academic should have less discussion on "doctrine" in order to study the real "problems".
