A long-simmering feud at China Vanke, one of China's biggest property companies, has boiled over. Baoneng Group expressed its opposition to the Shanghai Metro transaction, so did China Resources, a state-owned conglomerate and Vanke's secondlargest shareholder. At the shareholders' meeting, Wang Shi, the founding chairman of Vanke, indicated that what he concerned was not whether he would resign, but whether the company culture could be continued.
