国内对文学的本质与反本质主义的研究思路源于现代文论与后现代文论二元对立的思维模式,导致了学界对文学的本质探讨只破不立。韦勒克在《文学理论》中对文学本质的辩证研究方法和他对文学与文学理论特殊与一般的源流关系的强调,成为连接现代文论与后现代文论的桥梁,也为我国当前理论研究提供新的契机。

René Wellek＇s Literary Theories emphasizes the dialectical research method of literature nature and close relationship between literature and literature theory,thus makes it the bridge connecting modern literary theory with post-modern literary theory,and provides a good opportunity for present literary theory study in China.
