Mapping and Application Analysis of 3D Grid Columnar Map

数字地图的发展使人们对地图的视觉效果和实用性要求越来越高。三维地图显示成了数字地图主要的发展方向。据此,研究了三维网格柱状图的制图方法。该方法以网格地图为基础,易于进行多种数据源的融合及数据分析,同时对制图要素通过三维柱状图实现三维表达,取得较好的实用效果和视觉效果。以南京市KTV及酒吧分布为例,利用三维网格柱状图制图(设定网格单元大小为300m×300m,网格属性为酒吧KTV数量)生成三维网格柱状图,分析了该制图方法的优点,探讨了三维网格柱状图在社会经济要素制图、三维动态监测、多尺度网格制图等多方面的应用。相较传统制图,该方法具有简单快捷,易于进行不同数据源融合,突破传统社会经济制图基于行政界限的限制等优点,应用前景较好。

The development of digital map raised people＇s demands of better visual effects and practicability of map.3D map display has become an important development direction of digital map.The mapping method of 3D grid columnar map was studied.This method is based on grid map,prone to conduct fusion of Multi-source data and data analysis.At the same time,this method can achieve 3-D expression of mapping elements by 3-D histogram,get good practical effect and visual effect.Took distribution of KTV outlets and bars in Nanjing as an example,in order to show the distribution of KTV outlets better,we set the size of each grid to be 300 m×300 m,use the quantity of KTV outlets and bars as the grid attribute,generate threedimensional grid columnar map,in this map each unit cube presents one KTV outlet or bar.Compared to previous mapping methods,this method is simple and quick in 3-D mapping,easy for the fusion of different data sources,breakthrough the limitation of traditional social and economic cartography based on administrative boundaries and owns wide application prospects.
