Dilemma and Countermeasures: Exploring the Path of Current University Governance in China

合理高效的大学治理结构是高校健康发展的必然要求,文章阐述了目前我国大学在管理的过程中取得的成绩及存在的问题,提出了建设高水平大学管理的目标,并从中国的国情出发,提出了完善我国大学治理结构的思路和建议。这些建议包括构建科学合理的大学权力协调运行机制、倡导"教授治学"的大学治理模式、发挥大学章程在监督和治理中的作用以及鼓励社会多方共同参与大学治理。

Reasonable and efficient governance structure of the university is the inevitable requirement of the healthy development of colleges and universities. This paper analyzes the present situation and existing prob-lems of university governance in China, and proposes the goal of high-level university governance in China. Based on the national conditions of China, it puts forward the suggestions for improving the governance struc-ture of universities in China. The suggestions include building a scientific and rational coordination of the op-erating mechanism of university power, advocating a university governance mode with “professors governing academic studies”, exerting the role of university regulations in monitoring and governance,and encouraging multiple circles of society to participate in the university governance.
