现代职业人首先是一种客观的现象,反映了现代人的职业行为和过程,其次,它更是一种理念,反映现代职业的需要及人的需要。现代职业人的理念,是对现代职业及职业人发展规律的总结,以现代职业四大基本特征即职业实质、职业过程、职业主体和职业规则为依据。理念与依据之间的客观联系,使现代职业人研究具有深厚的客观基础和现实针对性。

Modem professionals are, first of all, a phenomenon which reflects the professional behavior and professionalprocess, and then are an idea which reflects the need from modem professions and from modem people. The papercontends that the ideas of modem professionals are the summary of the development law of modem professions and modemprofessionals which is based on the four bases---professional content, professional process, professional body,professional regulation. The relation of the idea and the basis makes the study of modem professionals have an objectivebase and realistic pertinence.
