A Summary of Studying Chinese Women Oral History in the Past Twenty Years

妇女口述史作为史学研究的一个新兴领域,最近几年发展迅速,特别是在少数民族妇女口述史方面。妇女民族工艺口述史、女知青口述史、女工口述史、战争口述史等领域涌现了一大批优秀的研究成果。这些研究成果展现了女性作为社会的重要组成部分为人类发展作出的巨大贡献。她们理应得到关注,也只有这样才能完整地叙述历史。

The oral history of women,as an emerging field of history study,has developed rapidly in recent years,and a large number of outstanding research results have emerged especially in different fields of the oral histories of minority women,female national crafts,female educated youth,women workers and war. The results show women, as an important part of society, have made tremendous contribution to human development. They deserve much attention so as to our past history will be narrated completely.
