摘要
以大学新闻英语课堂为实例,探讨教师在课堂传授"关注功能词"这一自主学习策略,让学生反复使用以形成自主学习习惯,并进一步引导学生将这一策略运用于口语报告准备中。用课堂观察、访谈方式查看效果,发现这一新学习策略不仅让同学们对功能词关注能力提高,而且帮助他们显著提升了口语报告质量。
Based on the experimental practice in the College News English course , the research elabo-rates on the learning strategy “Noticing Function Words”.Observing how the students apply the strategy to their preparations for oral presentations after they have acquired the new ability , the researcher find the new strategy not only helps the learners improve their ability of noticing function words , but also better the quality of their oral presentations with PPT .
