泰国是位于东南亚的国家,其景观设计受东南亚景观的影响较大。东南亚园林植物丰富,空间紧凑,以自然式风格为主,并受到宗教的影响。在多年的发展历程中,泰国传统园林不仅沿袭了东南亚园林的特点,也逐渐发展出其独有的特点,表现为浓郁的自然式风格、多种风格并存且形式丰富、与宗教景观融为一体等。随着时代的发展,当代泰式景观与传统泰式景观相比,也有所区别,表现为时代性、全球性、生态性、灵活性等特点。
