摘要
《紫色》主人公西丽的成长经历了以父权、夫权和女权为中心的家庭空间的转变。小说借这三次家庭空间的变易,向读者展示了西丽成长与认识社会现实的经历,以及主人公自我身份确定的过程,且将家庭空间与美国黑人女性的命运密切关联起来。告诉人们拥有"一间自己的房子",不仅是黑人女性自由的标尺,也是美国黑人生存的基本的空间诉求。
In The Color Purple,its protagonist Celie experiences several movements of domestic space,from the houses dominated by her stepfather or her husband to the ones centered by women. These movements convey to readers the process of Celie＇s growth and her understanding of social reality as well as her confirmation of self identity. In this way,American black women＇s fate and domestic space are closely intertwined. Therefore,obtaining＂a house of one＇s own＂not only stands for the freedom criteria of black women but also represents a basic spatial appeal of black Americans.
