Discussion on Natural Beauty and Moral Beauty of Tea Art

茶艺是一种饮茶生活艺术,其众多的美学特征可归为两大类--自然美与人格美。在茶艺的六大构成要素中均可充分展现出这两种美。茶艺的自然美是人格美的基础,茶艺的人格美是由其自然美引申并升华而成,两者是相辅相成,不可分割的。因而,在茶艺创作中应充分发挥其自然美和人格美。

Tea art is the art of drinking tea, with many of its aesthetic characteristics being categorized into two types- natural beauty and moral beauty, which are easily found in the six elements of tea art. For tea art,natural beauty is the basis of moral beauty, while moral beauty is the distillation of natural beauty. As a result, they are complementary and inseparable. Thus, in tea art, both natural beauty and moral beauty should be given full play.
