对奈保尔小说《模仿者》中三位女性人物进行解读:列妮是流散女性的代表;白人女性桑德拉虽是殖民者,却在一定程度上也受到了父权制的压迫;辛格的母亲则成为了沉默的他者。她们作为女性群体,在殖民语境下,逐渐丧失了话语权,沦为了男权社会的边缘人物。

This thesis makes an analysis on the three female characters in Naipaul＇s novel The Mimic Men： Lieni is the representative of diaspora women; the white female Sandra is a colonizer,but still suppressed by patriarchy to some degree; Singe＇s mother becomes the silent ＂ other＂. In the colonial context,as females,they gradually lose their speaking right and descend to be marginalized in the male- dominated society.
