元明清时期,史称为"一线路"的湘黔滇古驿道对整个西南地区产生了深远影响。从整体区域作用来说,这条贯穿贵州东西的走廊,影响了黔省各地域的政治、文化格局的形成;从地方社会来看,由于各地域自身历史背景、地理环境的不同,这种影响对于相应区域的投射具有差异性,而各自区域面对交通驿道的变迁所做出的能动反应也值得审视。因此,需审视古驿道优化之后,地方社会在失去旧有区位优势之后其自身走向和应对机制。
