Steelmaking with intermediate frequency furnace, as a mode of cleaner production and lower cost of produc- tion, has been widely used in a lots of casting and special steel enterprises. In the paper, important contents on devel- opment of technology of dephosphorization in intermediate frequency furnace and process of intermediate frequency furnace→LF→VD→ingots were introduced. Satisfactory practical effects furtherly showed that the clean production had a greater development prospects.
