洞庭湖越冬小天鹅食性研究

Study on Food Habit of Wintering Cygnus columbianus in Dongting Lake

为了解洞庭湖越冬小天鹅的食性,分别利用粪便显微分析法与野外观察法对洞庭湖越冬小天鹅食性进行研究。结果表明:菹草、虉草、苔草3种植物是洞庭湖越冬小天鹅主要食物;洞庭湖越冬小天鹅会随着生活环境、时间的改变而选择不同的植物,以适应环境的改变。

In order to understand more about the food habit of wintering Cygnus columbianus in Dongting Lake, methods of microscopic analysis of cell remains in feces and field observation were employed in the study. The results showed that wintering Cygnus columbianus’s main food was Potamogeton crispus, Carex tristachya and Phalaris arundinacea. Wintering Cygnus columbianus would change food with different living environments and stages, in order to adapt the changes of the environment.
