The paper introduces the application of JKSimMet software in beneficiation design. Focusing on grinding unit,simulation selection study is conducted. And it describes the method and steps of JKSimMet SAG selection design. Throughtwo beneficiation plants？ practical application of SAG process in China, the comparison analysis on procedure simulation andactual production data is conducted. It solves the limitation that in a long time, SAG is reliable on traditional calculationmethod. It provides new method for SAG selection calculation of beneficiation plant.
