由遗山文集校勘之失证祖本之可贵

Demonstrating the Value of the Original Edition From Misunderstandings in Collating of the Collected Works of Master Yishan

校勘学中对刊印最早的祖本特别重视,因为它接近原著原貌。后世刻本即使照录祖本,也不免有误而代代以讹传讹。再加在纠正祖本讹误中,不明原意,因校益讹,遂与祖本相去甚远。遗山文集的校勘即如此,现举例以证其祖本之可贵,它对其将来再版时亦有参考价值。

The original edition of a book,because of its closing to the original appearance,is much accounted of the textual criticism.Although the later editions were also made according to the original,there are still many mistakes so that the misunderstandings were transmitted generation after generation. In addition,in the process of correcting those misunderstandings,editors would make more mistakes in understanding the first edition,owing to unknown of original intention. This also happened in the Collating of the Collected Works of Master Yishan. This article will give some examples to illustrate the value of its original edition,which also have reference values for future republications.
