基于严以修身视角谈党员干部的五项修炼

On the Five Aspects of Self-Cultivation for Party Cadres from the Perspective of Being Strict in Self-Development

习总书记提出的"三严三实"的要求,明确了做事创业的准则,界定了为官律己的"高压线"。"三严三实"是党中央对党员干部作风建设的新要求,是党员干部做人从政的根本,为广大党员干部提升修养、改进作风、健康成长指明了方向。严以修身作为"三严三实"首要一环,是基础和根本,全党尤其党员干部务必作为人生必修课,务必加强理想信念、遵纪守法、为民品格、职业能力和生活情操等五方面修炼,祛除歪风邪气,树立清风正气,真正成为执政队伍中的"导航仪"和"标尺"。

The ＂Three Stricts and Three Earnests＂ requirements proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping have made clear the norms and standards for undertakings and entrepreneurship, meanwhile, they have defined the＂high-voltage wire＂of how to be an official and how to do self-discipline. These new requirements put forward by the CPC Central Committee for officials and Party cadres are the root of conducting themselves and political life, which have pointed out the direction for them to enhance their Party awareness, improve their conduct and develop themselves in a sound way. Being Strict in Self- development is the first and foremost part of the ＂Three Stricts and Three Earnests＂, being its basis and essence. The whole Party, Party cadres in particular, must regard it as a compulsory course of life, stepping up their efforts in five aspects, namely, adhering to ideals and principles, upholding the rule of law, fostering a good character and awareness of service for people, improving professional competence and pursuing a better way of life, so as to get rid of unhealthy practices and evil influences, and establish good ones, making themselves become the true ＂navigator＂ and ＂ruler＂ among officials.
