摘要
通过运用可能自我理论和二语动机自我系统对某校大学生的国际视野状况进行初步的考察后发现:研究对象的理想自我中含有二语成分,他们普遍认为英语是世界通用语,在未来的工作和生活中使用英语已成为必然的趋势,但他们对使用的频率有不同的预期和构想;研究对象的理想自我优于应该自我,理想二语自我也优于应该二语自我;语言水平与理想二语自我、二语学习经历之间存在一定的关联;语言水平与国际视野之间存在一定的关联,因此,国际视野的培养离不开语言水平的提升;国际视野与理想二语自我、应该二语自我、二语学习经历和二语学习动机强度之间显著相关,因此,可以从这几个方面着手培养学生的国际视野。
Based on Possible Selves Theory and L2 Motivation Self System, this research investigates Chinese college students' international posture. Research reveals that the subjects' ideal self has a L2 component, meaning that they recognize English as a lingua franca and realize that it's a tendency to use English in their future work and life; meanwhile, they have different expectations of the frequency of their future use of English; the subjects' ideal self is superior to their ought self; the same is with their ideal L2 self and ought-to L2 self; language proficiency is related to ideal L2 self and L2 learning experience; language proficiency is related to international posture, hence, the cultivation of international posture can not be separated from the improvement of language proficiency; international posture is related to ideal L2 self, ought-to L2 self, L2 learning experience and the intensity of L2 motivation, hence, to cultivate international posture these aspects must be dealt with.
