民办高校董事会存在着制度不完善和运行不规范的情况。要解决这些问题,我们必须跳出那种以西方高校为标准模式的思维范式。儒学的"大学之道"为各种社会组织确立了稳定运行的基石,至今仍然为我们研究社会组织理论提供了一个可靠的范式,对于民办高校董事会制度设计和自身建设来说,也必须在"大学之道"的范式框架下进行讨论。

Imperfection and ill-formed operation exist in the board system of private colleges. To solve these problems,we must get rid of the thinking paradigm of taking the western colleges and universities as the standard mode.＂The Philosophy of Great Learning＂of Confucianism has established the cornerstone of stable operation for a variety of social organizations,and has provided a reliable paradigm for us to study the theory of social organization.The design and the construction of the board system of private colleges must also be carried out under the guidance of ＂The Philosophy of Great Learning ＂.
