In the background of economic development into the new normal,the integration development among industries has become an inevitable requirement and effective way for the economic transformation and upgrading.The research on industry convergence,begun in the 1990 s,provides a theoretical basis for the integration development of the tourism industry and cultural industry. The change of market demands,the development of science and technology,and the policy oriented for industry development are in need of the integration development of the tourism industry and cultural industry urgently. The paths for the integration development of the two are to adhere to the innovative institutional mechanisms to strengthen the integration development,to extend the industrial chain of the development to build a strong integration development foundation,and to cultivate talents of the cultural tourism personnel to strengthen the support of integration development.
