Research on the Mottos of Undergraduate Sports Universities in China

运用文献资料法、逻辑分析法等研究方法,对我国现有14所本科体育院校校训进行研究。研究认为,我国体育院校校训体现了体育院校的办学特色,凝炼了体育院校的办学理念,是我国体育院校发展的精神纽带。我国本科体育院校校训具有显著的语言文化和词源文化特征,形式对称、内容含蓄是其主要语言文化特征;词源文化特征显示,我国本科体育院校校训主要源自引经据典、名家之言、庆典贺词等。研究我国本科体育院校校训是加快新时期体育院校实施内涵式发展的现实需要。

Using the methods of literature, logic analysis, etc. the paper conducts a research into the mottos of 14 undergraduate sports universities in China. The research shows that the school mottos embody the characteristics and reflect the educational philosophy of sports universities. They serve as spiritual bonds in the development of sports universities. The mottos have obvious features of language and etymology cultures. Symmetric form and implicit content are the main language culture features. Etymology culture features lie in classical quotations, famous words and speeches of celebrations and congratulations, etc. Motto study meets the practical needs of sports universities in China in the new period to accelerate the implementation of connotative development.
