摘要
采用粒径为0.1~1mm的熔融石英颗粒与具有相同折射率(1.4585)的溴化钙溶液混合配制透明砂土.质量分数为57%的溴化钙溶液与熔融石英折射系数相近,配制出的透明砂土透明效果较好.测试了透明砂土与同级配标准砂的工程性质,结果表明:渗透及压缩性质相近,直剪试验的剪应力与位移曲线形态基本相似,三轴试验的应力应变曲线形态也基本相同.采用熔融石英与溴化钙溶液配制出的透明砂在土体强度及变形方面具有表征天然砂土的能力.
Transparent sand used in this paper is mixed by fused silica with particle diameter 0.1 to 1 mm and calcium bromide solution with the refractive index equals to 1. 4585. When the concentration of so- lution reaches 57~ ,the fused silica becomes transparent. The transparent soil and standard sand sharing the same particle-size distribution were tested to investigate geotechnical properties. The results show that hydraulic conductivity and compressibility are similar. The relationships of stress and strain for transparent sand and standard sand are similar at different vertical stress both in direct shear tests and triaxial tests. Therefore, the transparent sand is suitable for model the natural sand before the peak strength.
