Dreams and Songs of a Dumb-poet——On Poems by Zuo You

左右是目前陕西的一位优秀85后诗人。这位来自商洛农村的年轻诗人迅速成长,成为在全国都具有一定知名度的诗人。由于先天的失聪,他不能开口说话。但是通过诗行,他展开了个体生命的歌唱与表达。同时,他不仅在诗中写了自己的梦想,也将写诗本身变成了一个人孜孜以求的梦想。虽然年轻的他在诗中依然留下青春写作的痕迹,还有一些不完美,但是毫无疑问,他的诗已经体现出作为一个诗人的想象力、感受力、表达力等诸多良好素质。就此而言,他值得我们关注、祝福和期待。

Zuo You is an excellent post-1985 poet from Shaanxi. The young poet, from a village in Shangluo, is growing and becoming a famous poet in China. He was a born dumb, but he has expressed his dreams and songs through poems. His poems demonstrate good qualities, such as imagination, sensation and expression, etc., though there are still traces of youth writing and imperfection in his poems. Therefore,he deserves our attention and blessing and expectations.
