A Study on the Utilization of Plant Resources by Li Nationality

黎族世居于琼中南山坡丛林,他们对自然植物资源的广泛利用贯穿于漫长的黎族发展史。自然植物因其易采撷性、强应需性和可持续性,广泛使用于黎族的衣食住行、婚育丧葬、宗教信仰、生产方式、文化娱乐、疾病防治等诸多方面,成就着黎族的物质生活和精神生活,成为了黎族传统文化的重要构元。在植物资源的利用方面,黎族既保持着原物使用的传统特点,又表现出创造使用的革新方式。在全面推进海南黎族现代化进程中,植物利用与有效保护是一个不可忽略的重要课题。

Li nationality lived in mountains and jungles of central south in Hainan,and they had a long history of extensive utilization of plant resources along with their own development.Because of easy picking,strong application and sustainability,plants have been widely used in Li＇s food,clothing,housing,transportation,wedding,bearing,burial,religious belief,mode of production,entertainment,disease prevention and so on,plants construct Li people＇s material and spiritual life and becomes the important part of Li＇s traditional culture.In the utilization of plant resources,on the one hand,Li maintains the original characteristics of the plants utilization,on the other hand,they create new ways.In the progress of completely promoting modernization of Li nationality in Hainan,the utilization and effective protection of plants is definitely an important topic that cannot be ignored.
