BEC商务英语证书的成本效益调查研究——以青岛和上海为例

The Cost Benefit Analysis of Business English Certificate Based on Qingdao and Shanghai Areas

本调查通过调查问卷和访谈,对上海和青岛地区就业个人和招聘企业进行了调查,考察了考取BEC商务英语证书的费用与就业薪资的成本收益情况。调查发现:大多数持有BEC证书的员工和未持有BEC证书的员工在低薪层次薪资差别不大,但是在高薪层次,持有BEC证书的员工薪资水平比未持有BEC证书的员工高很多。调查还发现企业在招聘人才时,更注重实际操作与应用能力而非一纸证书。

This study made a cost benefit analysis of Business English Certificate （BEC） owners located in Qingdao and Shanghai areas through questionnaires and interviews. It was found that at the lower level of salary, there was no significant difference between BEC owners and non-BEC owners, while at the higher level of salary, BEC owners enjoyed much more advantages than non-BEC owners. On the other hand, it was also found that recruiters usually focus much attention on the practical ability of candidates rather than the certificate itself.
