Actively Creating a New Normal for Trade Unions to Coordinate Labor Relations according to Laws

党中央首次召开群团工作会议,相继制定出台了加强党的群团工作和发展和谐劳动关系指导意见,为我国工会工作指明了前进方向,明确了基本路径。工会要迎接新挑战,顺应新常态,把广大职工的思想和行动凝聚到党中央的重大战略判断上来;要坚持基本原则,深化改革发展,进一步凝聚对中国特色社会主义工会发展道路的认同;要参与社会治理,营造社会氛围,更好地彰显工会依法协调劳动关系有为有位的新常态,不断提升依法履职和服务职工的能力。

It was the first time that the CPC Central Committee convened the Mass Organization Work Conference It has successively developed and enacted guidance for strengthening the mass organization work of the Communist Party of China and developing harmonious labor relations, identifying development trends and basic approaches to work of Chinese trade unions. These trade unions have to take new challenges, adapt to the new normal and integrate staff＇ s thoughts and actions into the CPC Central Committee＇ s major strategic judgments. It is also necessary to adhere to fundamental principles, deepen reform for development and further strengthen people＇ s recognition of trade unions＇ socialist development path with Chinese characteristics. Furthermore, efforts need to get involved in social governance, create social atmosphere, better exhibit the new normal for trade unions to coordinate labor relations, and constantly improve their abilities to perform their functions and serve their staff according to laws
