To strengthen and improve education of college students on the view of life is an important orientation in the new era＇s higher education reform. However, there are still many theoretical puzzles and practical problems to be solved immediately. Educate and guide young college students to apply Marxist world outlook and methodology. Understand correctly the dialectical relationship between life and death, to cherish life or afraid to die, extend life and enhance the quality of life, value one＇s own life and care for life of others,etc. Understanding deeply the nature and significance of life will have important theoretical and practical significance to promote growth and success of young college students to realize the value of life, improve the quality of life, and carry forward the socialist core values and build a socialist harmonious society.
