The Handicraft of Hexi Corridor in Wuliang Period

十六国五凉时期虽然战事连绵,然垂悬一隅的河西地区相对北方黄河流域仍是较为安定区域,其域内传统农牧经济在经历了较为平稳的过渡之后仍获得了缓慢发展,而手工业作为当地社会经济结构中的一个重要领域,在承接以往经济发展基础之上又有了一定的发展。主要表现在:制盐、冶铁、纺织、木器、皮革、陶器、酿造、建筑等手工业部门。

Although fights occurred constantly during the period of the Sixteen Kingdoms and Wuliang,as a area where hanging in a corner,Hexi was still more stable than the Yellow River basin in the north. In addition,the traditional agriculture and livestock still got slowly development through the steady transition. However,the handicraft industry had a fixed development based on the basis of economic development,which were as a significant field amongst the local community economy structure; it represents lots of handicraft fields,such as the salt of making,the iron of smelting,the textile progress,the wood- ware,the leather,the earthenware,the brewage and the building etc.
