慕课时代“基础英语”教学的困境与出路

The Predicament and Solution of“Comprehensive English Teaching”at MOOCs Time

传统的"基础英语"教学模式与新形势信息时代的要求之间的矛盾日趋严重,存在教学目标不明确、教学重心不准确、教学内容与时代的需求不合拍、输入与输出量不足且不协调、教学手段不先进等五大主要问题。只有采取找准教学重心,重新调整教学目标;充分利用现代教育技术,构建高效先进的教学模式;更新教学理念,提高教育教学水平;研讨新时代语言习得规律,编写符合新国标要求的教材;加强学科之间的融合,全面提高学生的综合素质、改变评价方式,注重过程性反馈六个针对性对策,"基础英语"才能够承担起专业主干课程的责任,走出目前困境。

There are five main problems in the traditional teaching mode of ＂Comprehensive English＂, namely, undefined teaching objectives, inaccurate teaching focus, incompatible teaching contents with the needs of the time, inadequate and uncoordinated input and output, dated teaching means. Therefore, this mode progressively contradicts with the requirements of the Intemet age. Only by means of readjusting the teaching objective to locate the teaching focus, constructing an etticient teaching mode based on modem educational technology, updating teaching philosophy, improving the capacity for education and teaching, compiling textbooks meeting the demand of the new National Standard guided by language acquisition law, strengthening the combination am students＇ overall and comprehensive quality, changing assessment mechanism, can ong different disciplines to upgrade ＂Comprehensive English＂ shoulder the responsibility of a core course for English majors and step out of the predicament of inability to boil water.
