Earthquake relief spirit is rich in resources of cultural soft power,which can turn into the spiritual,institutional and intellectual soft power.It is embedded in the conversion of potential cultural soft power to real cultural soft power,which requires the resolution of the challenges between the shaping of earthquake relief spirit and the identifying of values,the conflicts between the reviving of earthquake relief spirit and the effective running of relief system,and the conflicts between the promoting of earthquake relief spirit and the effective supporting of economy,science and technology.Cultivating and practicing socialist core value system,building and improving earthquake relief system and advancing the development of economy,science and technology will effectively contribute to the conversion of earthquake relief spirit to cultural soft power.
