This paper introduces the current situation of special line and the annual freight volume, analyzes the selection of the main technical standards from the railroad grade, number of main lines, limiting gradient, minimum radius of curve, traction type and so on. It discusses the comparison and selection process of the railway special line connection scheme and the recommendation opinions and presents a design scheme and power supply traction scheme of Beijing Jingneng Power Plant.
